The TI Automotive Shanghai plant earned its honors as an Excellent Supplier for 2006 from SGM in the ninth Annual Suppliers Conference and Suppliers Award Ceremony. Shanghai General Motors Executive Zhang Liren presented the top honor to Steven Chen, general manager of TI Automotive Fluid Carrying Systems (FCS) Shanghai. "We are honored to be recognized by Shanghai General Motors," said James Bao, commercial director of TI Automotive FCS China. "We have worked hard to satisfy and exceed GM's standards in the areas of program development, quality, on-time delivery, value analysis and value-engineering." TI Automotive supplies brake and fuel-line bundles to SGM. At Suzuki's annual suppliers meeting in Hainan, China, TI Automotive received the automaker's Excellent Supplier Award for 2006. Jacky Wang, general manager of TI Automotive FCS Chongqing, accepted the honor on behalf of the company, which makes brake and fluid lines for Suzuki.
